About the event
On September 27, Magic Garage is hosting its first-ever* Freshest Meat show!
"Magic Garage presents: The Freshest Meat" will do just that: showcase Salzburg's newest drag kings, queens and quings.
Whether you've been to one of our workshops, secretly rehearsing in your bedroom or just watched so many drag shows you think it's finally time to put together your own act, now is your time to shine and strut your stuff on the Narrencastl stage!
Join the Drag King Workshop during Pride Week or just come along to our meetup and open rehearsal. Here you'll meet some other drag newbies, a few drag oldies and most importantly get encouraging support to develop your performance ahead of your September debut!
What to bring:
- Yourself! Be ready to share who your drag persona will be but you don't need to come in makeup or costume
- Your idea: at the first rehearsal, you can just share your idea but it would be even better if you would be ready to perform it
- Your music: this can be either an MP3 or a Spotify or YouTube link
Costumes and props are encouraged but not required for the first rehearsal.
